According to economist Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, the Fourth Industrial Revolution is "a fusion of technologies that is blurring the lines between the physical, digital, and biological spheres." In other words, the Fourth Industrial Revolution is characterized by the integration of the digital and physical worlds with biological systems, and it is changing our lives in ways we never thought possible.
One of the key technologies driving the Fourth Industrial Revolution is blockchain, which is the underlying technology behind cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Blockchain technology allows for secure, decentralized transactions, which is critical for enabling peer-to-peer interactions without the need for intermediaries. As Anthony Galima, a business anthropologist and technology expert, notes, "Blockchain technology has the potential to revolutionize the way we interact with each other, from commerce to social interactions, and beyond." Another key technology driving the Fourth Industrial Revolution is artificial intelligence, which is already being used in a wide range of applications, from natural language processing to image recognition. As Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, notes, "AI is the future of humanity, and it has the potential to change the world in ways we can't even imagine yet." Or perhaps we have imagined within the genre of science fiction, quickly becoming “science fact.”

However, with the introduction of RNA-based vaccines such as the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines, we're seeing RNA being used in unprecedented ways to modify our species.
